At the GCU Student Ad Agency we were required to create our own alphabet for a passion project. I wanted to create something hand-drawn that would make people smile. The idea for the Mushroom Villages came from a sketchbook drawing I created in my freshman year of college. I happened to be eating a salad with mushrooms in it and thought it would be fun to create a small village full of them.
